Pajama Yoga

Hi!

Yoga clothing should be loose and comfortable, no tight “workout” clothes and elastics, please. Have an empty or light stomach. You might get a tummy ache if you do some poses if you’re full. Try to locate a spot in your house where you can lay out your mat and be away from distractions (dogs and cats are ok!) Drink water before class, but hold off during your practice unless you get thirsty like I do. lol.

Most of all try to get outside in the sun and move your body in ways it doesn’t get to do when you’re inside. Run, jump, lay down on the grass. Mommy Nature has some remedies.

In today’s class. I talked about Courage and mentioned Brian Eno’s Oblique Strategies. They are a card deck to get you thinking outside of the screen and opens up the mind to new possibilities.

Which would you rather, Captain COURAGEOUS! or ANXIOUS Annie? Courage is one thing we can choose and cultivate. The hero get’s afraid, but has some sort of ethos that keeps him (or her or they) going on the journey.

What’s your ethos? Family? Self-Improvement? Civic Responsibility? Use whatever floats your boat to get you out of bed on the right side and the good foot.

Hair Peace Bed Peace
